Thanksgiving

To celebrate Thanksgiving, the kids made Indian head gear or a Pilgrim hat. The students were then able to participate in the making of "friendhip mix." The students had to follow the recipe to complete their bag of mix.

Halloween

For Halloween, the students rotated to each Kindergarten class and participated in a variety of Halloween centers. The kids had a ball and made great crafts to take home and share with their parents. Some of the crafts included a treat bag, hand-painted ghost pumpkin, and 5 pumpkins sitting on a fence craft.

On September 30th the Kindergarten classes went on a field trip to Old Baker Farm Pumpkin Patch. The teachers, kids, and parents had a GREAT time. We learned how cotton was made and we even got to pick some! It was so soft and fluffy. We fed a baby calf, went through the hay maze, and we also went on a hayride to find the perfect pumpkin. We had such a great adventure!!

September 23rd was Johhny Appleseed Day! We had a BLAST doing several types of apple centers and activties. We could not have done it without the help from our AMAZING volunteers! THANKS!
